In my experience, Dan has a number of qualities I instantly value and want as part of my team and company culture. He is a constantly curious and creative individual. He doesn’t only ask the question, “what if,” but he researches and works to validate any assumptions without hesitation. He is a self starter and natural leader. In his first two months working with a team of game design interns, he took lead in several projects, but was equally happy simply getting tasks done for the team. In my 15 years of tech and media/art work, the one thing I hold to be true is that tech is certain to fail, so it is more important to see how someone reacts in tough situations. Dan is a positive thinker and problem solver, and brings a calm sense of “we can fix this.”

Dan was part of an instructional design team at Kognito that developed numerous high-quality branching storylines. I've worked on a wide range of projects alongside Dan over the past 11 years including theatre, short films, board games, and video games.
